Paid € 2.70 for a simple cheese and pretzel roll. There was nothing special about it. Cold and like from the supermarket. Not recommended, too bad.

Nice place on the square, very good cake, however: coffee (cappuccino and white coffee) like water. - When I asked the waitress about it, all she said was that she would let me know inside. No regrets, no offer to replace our watery infusions with good coffee. Conclusion: Overall only conditionally recommended.

Stefan Rose and his team at Herderplatz (not to be confused with the second Rose bakery in Weimar!) Has the best sheet cake I know and the largest selection every day. Absolute recommendation!

Very friendly and helpful and a good variety of goodies

We arrived here by chance with a thirst for coffee and a slight hunger. We were served by a young, tall employee with a certain charm and we were not disappointed. The coffee was tasty and the poppy cake was awesome. Should we go to Weimar again, we will specifically take our coffee break there.

Delicious cake, great bread and rolls. But what they really score here is something original Thuringian ... The onion cake deserves an extra star ******

Ice cream and Irish coffee were delicious

For me, this bakery is the best in Weimar. The cakes are delicious and I think it's very good that you can order at the counter and take everything with you. The ice cream is also very, very good. The really nice shop assistant told me that the boss made the ice cream himself. You can really taste it! I can only recommend everyone to go there. Simply delicious, nice and a feast for the palate!

We have been buying our bread here for over 2 years. For this, like to drive a few kilometers. The quality is great, there is a large selection, you are constantly trying to surprise customers with new types of bread. The breads are not cheap, if you want to go to the Rewe or Aldi bakery. Those who want to eat good quality bread today are also willing to pay for this quality. We always love to come back!

I love this old bakery. It's a classic the kind of bakery that I wish I had in my town. The old German snacks and cakes are delicious. The bakery is in Central Weimar which is a beautiful historical location near a very famous church it's totally worth a visit
